The catholic bishop of Yei appealed to all qualified citizens of the country to register in order to vote in the upcoming referendum on self-determination.
Bishop Erkolano Lodu Tombe registered this morning in Yei, Easter Radio reported.
Bishop Lodu said it was important to register and vote during the referendum because it was a right and duty.
The bishop of Yei added that all who qualifies to register should register in order to be able to vote.
Bishop Lodu added that this was a call to the people of South Sudan.
The bishop made these statements today after he registered in Yei.
