The Secretariat of sports in Nuba Mountains region has on Wednesday opened the tournament under the theme ‘Football is art and fun’
Nasradeen Ali, the secretary of the league told Radio Voice of Peace that the tournament is dedicated to the memorial of the late SPLM/North officer Kamal Mohammed Subahi.
The competition begins with Ninety-nine VS Kurumba football teams where 90-Nine beats Kurumba 1-0 almost at the last minutes of the second round.
The late Mohammed had supported the sports in the region of the Nuba Mountains.
The secretary says each team will have two chances in the match.
