The newly elected head of the Nuba Mountains Society in Wau state says he will work to help Nuba people in Wau and support peaceful co-existence with local citizens in Wau.
Kabashi Tejani Kabashi, appreciates the confident given to him by the general assembly of the Nuba association and elected him as their leader. Voice of hope radio reports.
Tijani promised to work for the unity of the Nuba people in Wau and maintain the good social relations with the local population.
The General Assembly also Ali Ahamed Basha as the Secretary General and Ramadan Mohammed Kuwa as the Secretary of finance.
Osman Malik Osman the elected Secretary for Social and cultural affairs stressed about social cooperation among the society members and encourage them to contribute their monthly fee for the welfare of the society.
The newly elected 17 members of the executive body will ran the office for the next two years according to the constitution
