The Emeritus Bishop of Torit Catholic Diocese has recently published forty five words that can be a solution to bring peace in South Sudan if only the leaders follow them.

Bishop Paride Taban outlines, Love, patience, compassion, sympathy, kindness, truthfulness and forgiveness among others, which the people can build peace in the country.

He believes by taking the forty five words into action, all the guns will return to the store or be replaced by hoes and the tankers for fighting will be turned into tractors for cultivation.

Fr James Oyet, General Secretary of South Sudan Council of Churches calls on the leaders to change their hearts and mind so that South Sudanese attain peace.

He says the blood of those who died for the sake of this nation should not go in vein.

He observes that the people of South Sudan are tired of war and they need peace to go back to their various places.
