The Director of Child Welfare department in the Ministry of Education of Gbudue state says insecurity exposes children to difficult life in Yambio and surrounded area.
Veronica Annie Michael says the current security and humanitarian situation of the country is forcing number of children go in the streets whenever there is displacement. Radio Anisa reports.
Annie reveals that they have twelve children kept at the Child Transit Center, whereby three of them are girls most are born as a result of rape cases and those abducted during war after being separated from their families.
Based on their assessment, Annie discloses that they found out that most of these children affected were staying with adopted parents.
She encourageS parents to take time to advise their children and to pray for peace to prevail that will end the suffering of children in South Sudan.
