AMECEA in Juba in solidarity with Christians of South Sudan and Sudan

AMECEA Secretaries chose to meet in Juba as a sign of solidarity with the people of South Sudan and Sudan who are suffering to be able to contribute to peace and stability of the two countries, says AMECEA Secretary-General.
 
Fr Ferdinand Lugonzo says another reason is for AMECEA to discussion church agenda in the whole region.
 
The Secretary-General re-echoes that they are planning for the upcoming 19th plenary in July 2018 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
 
AMECEA is preparing to celebrate the plenary with view of the diversity of people in the region.
 
Fr Lugonzo discloses that they are also discussing how members of AMECEA can organize the synod for youth on how the Church in Africa can celebrate it to promote faith and vocation.
 
Secretary-General Fr Lugonzo was talking to Catholic radio Network in Juba on the sidelines of the meeting of AMECEA Secretaries.
