Peace is a process that cannot be achieve in a day, says Community Empowerment for Progress Organization or CEPO Coordinator in Lakes State.
 
Majier Isaac Majok says CEPO will never give up in supporting communities to engage in peace activities in the state, Radio Good News reports.
 
He assured newly appointed state peace committee to work hand in hand with them in order to see lasting peace in the region.
 
The Coordinator condemns the recent fighting between Panyon of Among-piny and Amoth-nhiim of Rumbek Counties.
 
Isaac urges the two communities to talk to their sons in order to stop fighting and stealing cattle between the borders.
 
Deng Mathiang Deng, the new Coordinator for Central Peace Committee applauses CEPO for its tireless support to community peace dialogues in the state.
 
He promises to work together with the former members of the peace committee in Western Lakes State.
 
The speakers made the remarks during peace committee meeting with CEPO Lakes staff on Monday in Rumbek.
