Torit Local Football Association Secretary-General says those clubs that refused to appear in the second leg competition for the premier league would be punished.

Ongoro Mark Victo, says the Association is investigating the matter and will penalize those teams found guilty by demoting them according to state sports’ laws, Radio Emmanuel reports.

An official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, says the football clubs refused to play because the Association is not fair to all teams.

Bu Mark denies the accusation, saying they are fair to all clubs although they support individually, but not in the name of the Association.

The Secretary-General calls on all football clubs to turn up for their games normally and look for amicable solutions to ensure the continuity of sport activities in the state.

Currently there is no football competition going on in Torit.

The Secretary-General was talking to Radio Emmanuel last week.
