Be patient in following the law procedures, says the acting head of legal administration and public prosecution attorney of sisterly states of Imotong and Kapoeta.
John Wani Lado spoke during the closure of three days’ workshop on access to justice in Torit; he says people should not take the law into their hands but rather follow the procedures required for the given cases of crimes. Emmanuel Radio reports.
Wani discloses that some citizens ignore legal procedures when following their cases.
Geri Rimondo a facilitator of the workshop says, training people helps to sharpen their minds on access to justice.
Justice Raimondo says any citizen who pursues the law will never be ignored by the lawyers.
Stella Minda one of the participants of the workshop, says the training has helped her to know her rights as a citizen.
Stella says though citizens know some of their rights, they still have fear over those who will take the law into their hands.
Stella recommended human right initiative to include security organs in such trainings.
