Armed opposition groups causing insecurity and threats to the public in Imotong State have no political agenda, says Governor.
Tobiolo Alberio Oromo notes that the armed groups that have joined the government for peace are those with political agenda, Radio Emmanuel reports.
He blames oppositions who refused the call for national dialogue because of fear that they will be held accountable for the crimes they committed.
Governor Alberio mentions revenge killings as one of the major factors that made many young men to join the armed groups.
He calls on armed groups to accept the dialogue for the sake of peace in the country.
Alberio claims there are few reports of human rights violations in the state because the cultural norms do not allow such cases.
The Imotong State Governor made the statement while briefing human rights team that came from Juba on Monday.
