Rii-Yubu Payam back to normal after insecurity, says priest

The situation in Rii-Yubu Payam is coming back to normal after previous insecurity in the former Gbudue State.
 
Radio Anisa quoted Fr Joseph Gitinji saying the people have returned to their homes.
 
He discloses that some traders who ran to seek refuge in the neighbouring countries have also started coming back.
 
Fr Gitinji adds that the business people are repairing their shops which were broken during the conflict.
 
He reiterates that the relationship between soldiers and citizens in the area is normalizing.
 
Fr Gitinji says the community and the soldiers are sharing and discussing issues together.
 
He adds that the soldiers have been coming to visit the parish to dialogue with the people.
 
Hovever Fr Gitinji laments that the roads connecting Rii Yubu to Tombura, Bambuti and other places are bad.
 
He calls on all South Sudanese to work for peace.
