Unknown gunmen allegedly killed a man in Kumbur Payam of Nuba Mountains.
The gunmen believed to have been following their stolen cattle, shot dead a 34-year-old Kabura Ismail Kirren at his farm, Radio Voice of Peace reports.
He had gone to weed his sim-sim plantation.
The source says the body of the late Ismail took three days before it was traced because no one knew what had happened.
Ismail believed to have been killed on Friday evening left behind a widow and five children.
Days ago, another man was killed in an attempt to raid cattle from herdsmen.
