Minister urges government to put women’s rights top priority

Put the rights of women as the first priority, the new Minister of Gender and Social Development in Tonj State appeals to the government.
 
Mabil Ater Deng says his main concern is to consider women and street children, Radio Don Bosco reports.
 
He says by educating one woman, the whole nation is educated.
 
Ater believes that by involving women in the government, peace can be achieved all over.
 
He advises communities to cooperate with the government.
 
The minister also appeals to all Church denominations in the state to register with South Sudan Council of Churches.
 
Minister Ater calls on new churches to register to allow them preach anywhere.
 
The minister was speaking to Radio Don Bosco on Monday in Tonj.
