The police are not supporting women, especially when dealing with rape cases, says deputy director of Community Empowerment for Progress Organization or CEPO.

Betty Sunday Ben says instead of taking rape cases seriously, instead the police will start asking irrelevant questions.

Sunday points out that the questions police ask are not favouring women.

She urges the police to change their attitude to work together with the people.

Police could not comment on the matter.
