The Minister of Agriculture and Forestry in Tonj State on Thursday met his staff to enlighten farmers on how to manage their crops.

Angelo Deng Magol says it is important for the ministry to tell farmers to plant short term crops in the second season, Radio Don Bosco reports.

Deng urges the community to take care of the forest because it is the resource of the young nation.

Respect the rules set by the government, because cutting trees without proper reason is against the law, Deng explains to the public.
