Yei River County commissioner registered for the upcoming referendum accompanied by other dignitaries.
David Lokonga said the registration was the first step for the citizens of this country to choose the future they want, Easter Radio reported.The commissioner encouraged people to come and register if they want to vote in the referendum adding that if they do not register they will not vote.
Mr. Lokonga urged people to keep their registration cards in a safe place to avoid confusion during the voting process.
Many centres opened late today but a big number of people turned up to be registered.
