One thousand four hundred and four candidates of primary eight started their mock exams on Monday in Yambio of Gbudue State.
Gibson Francis Waru, Director-General in the State Ministry of Education, reveals that the exams will prepare the candidates to the final one, Radio Anisa reports.
The results will indicate the performance of students after the mock exams, he discloses.
The Director-General appeals to parents to give more time to their children at home to prepare for the final exams.
He encourages the candidates who are attempting mock test to concentrate on their subjects.
Zachariah Malkaly Sangu, Chief Invigilator at Yambio Boys Primary School, says the candidates prepared very well and are ready for the exams.
Enter classes with no single paper or calculator and phones to avoid cheating cases, he cautions the candidates.
Many candidates express readiness and they expect to pass well.
The candidates are sitting in three centres in Yambio and others in Nzara County.
