A Member of Parliament representing Morobo County in Yei Assembly urges the state government to open roads to enable them reach their constituencies and talk to the people about peace.

Maka Mustafa says they are unable to visit their people because the roads linking Yei to rural areas remain closed, Radio Easter reports.

She says if the roads are opened they will all go to their constituencies and update the people about the implementation of the peace.

Maka urges the state government to silence guns so that people carry out their normal activities.

The MP made the call at St Barnabas Church during the memorial prayer of late David Awongo Moses and Pastor Isaiah Lobida over the weekend.
