South Sudan Red Cross in Wau State ended three-day workshop on gender sensitivity and diversity.
Abalany James, Red Cross focal person in Wau, says the training was targeting the volunteers and field staff because they are close to communities, Radio Voice of Hope reports.
Red Cross is aiming at empowering some groups including youth and women to be enlighten them on the importance of gender and diversity.
Zainab Abduo, Red Cross Volunteer, says they have learned from the workshop about gender diversity and equality between male and female in all places.
It is essential to be fair when dealing with gender issues, she says.
The officials spoke on Monday after workshop in Wau.
