Health officials in Tonj state in collaboration with the World Health Organization or WHO train Payam supervisors on distribution of drugs for tropical diseases.
Dr Raphael Mawien, Director-General notes that the five tropical diseases can cause different disabilities to people, Radio Don Bosco reports.
Dr Mawien added that Tonj is one of the areas been surveyed in 2014 which found out that tropical diseases so much spread among communities.
The Director-General confirms that the trainers will helped in distributing drugs to the communities in Payams, Bomas and all villages of Tonj State.
They hope Tonj area will be free of tropical diseases by 2020, he adds.
The official was speaking in an interview with Radio Don Bosco on Monday.
