Flood affects Mother of Mercy Hospital

The entire Mother of Mercy Hospital has been flooded and a large area of it fence collapsed says administrator.
 
Joseph Makuasi explains that drugs and food stores are wet as the water entered into the hospital’s wards and one patient died in the course of evacuation, Radio Voice of Peace reports.
 
Makuasi appreciates Saint Joseph secondary school students who helped in drawing water out of the wards.
 
He calls on the community to go to the hospital and help in the cleaning.
 
Joseph Kunar Shangiro, who works at the pharmacy, says much of the drugs have been spoiled.
 
Hospital Director, Doctor Tom Catena, says work will resume after wards and the operation theatre dry.
 
Many people believe that it is a rare experience in Nuba Mountains after many decades.
