Rumbek Diocesan Coordinator Monsignor John Mathiang Machol on Sunday confirmed twenty-nine catechumens at Loreto Secondary School.
Monsignor Mathiang in his homily encourages the candidates to be the soldiers and ambassadors of Jesus Christ, Radio Good News reports.
He emphasizes that ‘a strong church means a strong family life, but a poor family life causes a poor church and witness’.
Monsignor Mathiang urges the new candidates and Christians to strengthen their faith by tirelessly believing and serving until the end of their lives to have everlasting life.
The confirmation was on Sunday at Loreto Secondary School in Maker-Kuei Rumbek Diocese.
