The Catholic Bishop of Yei thanks UN World Food Program for rescuing the people of Yei with food.
Radio Easter quoted Bishop Erkolano Lodu Tombe appreciating the efforts made by WFP in knowing that people of Yei need food though it was not enough.
He adds that the people of Yei were in dire need of food aid following the conflicts that engulfed the state forcing thousands to flee from their homes.
Bishop Lodu says it was not easy for world bodies to raise funds for helping the people of South Sudan because other people are suffering globally.
He asks the people to share their suffering with those who are in misery and be grateful to those who are helping them.
The Bishop made the statement at Christ the King Cathedral on Sunday.
