The Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation calls for tougher punishment steps for people who are illegally connecting water pipes.
Sophia Pal Gai says illegal connection and delay in paying bills by the public has affected the Urban Water Corporation, Radio Bakhita reports.
She urges the public to pay their water bills to enable distributors to improve services across the country.
The Minister spoke to Journalists on Sunday at Juba International Airport, after leading a team of water experts to Japan and Cambodia, where the group learnt skills on urban water distribution.
