Archbishop Lukudu returns to Juba after medical checkup abroad

The Catholic Archbishop of Juba on Monday returned home after two months of medical checkup in Italy and Germany.
 
Archbishop Paolino Lukudu Loro told Radio Bakhita that he went to Rome for high blood pressure treatment.
 
He says he received well treatment, now feels better and happy to be after two months abroad.
 
Vatican is behind the delay of the appointment of Bishops to South Sudan’s vacant dioceses, says the Catholic prelate.
 
He says things are not very clear especially about Churches in South Sudan and that Vatican is confused about issues in the young country.
 
Archbishop Lukudu says Pope Francis is still concerned about South Sudan and working together with world bodies and political leaders on the situation of country.
 
The Archbishop spoke upon arrival from Rome, Italy after two months of treatment and consultations on South Sudan Catholic Church issues.
