The Police Commissioner of Tonj State discloses forming new organized force comprising of Police, Wildlife, Prison Service, Fire Brigade and SPLA to patrol the town.
Major General James Madut Ngor says the group is to monitor criminal activities in the town, Radio Don Bosco report.
There are complaints from communities that thieves are breaking doors at night and even during the day when people go to work, he says.
He mentions that the force is working hard to reduce criminal cases in the area.
Major General Madut stresses that the same force will be formed in the counties as well.
He urges the public not to leave their children at home alone as thieves take advantage.
Major General Ngor advises youth to work for themselves, instead of stealing from others.
The Police Commissioner was talking to Radio Don Bosco in Tonj on Wednesday.
