Traders in Tonj on Friday requested the government to secure the road for goods to reach the state.

One of the traders, Bakri Adam Yousif, who sells sandals, clothes and other items complains of few costumers to previous time due to the economic crisis, Radio Don Bosco reports.

Another trader, who is selling sugar and flour reveals that he loses a lot because of the transportation and taxation in neighbouring countries.

Customer who bought a kilo of flour explains that it’s not enough for the family because it costs 160 SSP, which is not easy to get.

Radio Don Bosco could not reach the Chamber of Commerce for comments.
