A military vehicle of the SPLA known as waral on Tuesday knocked down three people in Abyei-cok of Tonj State, nine kilometers away from the capital Tonj.
One of them died instantly and the two injured are receiving medication in Tonj Civil Hospital.
A Traffic Police Director Joseph Lity Jabu told Radio Don Bosco that three persons were on motor bike while the vehicle is in front of them and they hit the truck behind.
They investigate with a driver and they found that the accident was not intentional, he adds.
He appeals to the public to follow the traffic rules to avoid unexpected death or injury.
The leader made the remarks on Tuesday at police head-quarters in Tonj.
