A priest of the Catholic Diocese of Yei is asking Christians to be committed to their faith in order to be able to carry their cross.
Fr. Zachariah Angutuwa says true Christians should show love towards their families and societies, Radio Easter reports.
Fr Angutuwa asks the faithful to pray for the spiritual leaders so that they give themselves to serve people.
The ministry of Christ is God’s given and needs respect and attention to the social teachings of the church, he adds.
Fr Angutuwa was preaching at Christ the King Cathedral on Sunday.
