Hackers were blocking access to the UN radio website since last night, an official said.
An official who did not want to be named said that Miraya’s internet site was jammed since the end of yesterday’s afternoon, AFP reported.The official who pointed a finger to Khartoum authorities added he did not know why Miraya webpage was blocked.
Officials in the information and telecommunications ministries in Khartoum were unavailable to comment on the move denying access to Mirayafm webpage.
Miraya FM is on air since June 2006. It broadcasts in English and Arabic across South Sudan via FM relay stations and short wave and through the internet.
Miraya FM webpage is accessible again.
