The Commissioner of Nagero County in Tombura State says his citizens and government workers are registering success amidst economic challenges.
Balia Digido says citizens are embarking on agriculture to improve the financial situation, Radio Anisa reports.
He says the population this year will be able to sell some agricultural products to other places in the state and South Sudan
The commissioner says one of the challenges facing people in Nagero County is high prices of commodities in the markets.
Another challenge is in education indicated by few teachers and delay in salaries, Digido reveals.
Security is relatively calm in Nagero County and the road connecting it to Tombura State is passable, he discloses.
The Commissioner was speaking to Radio Anisa in a telephone interview on Thursday.
