Seven members who went for eight-day training on waste management in Uganda have returned to Juba on Thursday.
The training focused on basic survey to collect necessary information to develop master plan for solid waste management in Juba City, Radio Bakhita reports.
The course also centered on analyzing the data for formulating the master plan on soil waste management.
One of the trainees, Aban Akot, from the Ministry of Environment says they have gained more knowledge from the training.
Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Executive officer Juba City Council, Thomas Stephen Kenyi, says they would be able to manage the waste within the City.
He decries lack of qualified personnel in the field.
Japan International Cooperation Agency and City Council started the program in Juba.
