Exercise cleanliness in restaurants, vegetable and fruits and selling places around, Acting Governor of Tonj State urges food sellers and traders in markets.

Deng Mayom Akeen tells traders to clean goods before selling them to the public for consumption, Radio Don Bosco reports.

He was responding to a confirmed case of cholera last week in Tonj Civil Hospital.

The Acting Governor directs a family member coming from cholera affected areas to report to a health facility for check up.

He appeals to people of Tonj not to be afraid because health authorities will control the disease.

Mayom encourages the public to eat food while still hot and boil water or use chlorine tablets before drinking to prevent cholera.
