Being refugees results from insecurity as people are forced out of their origin areas, says Bishop of Episcopal Church of South Sudan and Sudan, Yei Diocese.
 
Bishop Hilary Luate Adeba cites war, persecution, natural disaster, poverty, environmental crisis and denial of human rights as major factors for people live their homes for refuge, Radio Easter reports.
 
He adds that others fled because of bad security by the government.
 
The Bishop says 2016 July crisis has separated many family members in South Sudan.
 
He reveals that women and children are in camps with no proper education and men are in remote villages.
 
The ECSSS prelate mentions that they were being called slaves because of being refugees outside the country for many years.
 
The Bishop was speaking during the celebration of World Refugees Day in Yei on Tuesday under the theme: ‘We stand together with refugees’.
