Women’s Aid Vision or WAV on Monday began training youth, women, local government officials and state members of parliament on the importance of the effective pillars of good governance.
Radio Good News quoted Akecam Mamer Thok-Agor, WAV Project Assistant, explaining that the workshop targets women and youth to discuss the issue on pillars of good governance in the state.
‘Poor governance can be address when sanitizing youth and women in their roles in the society’, she adds.
Facilitator, Madhieu Makuach Adhil, says everything is ok when there is good governance because it tackles issues of security, transparency and accountability.
The training brought together 40 participants from two of Rumbek Center and Wulu Counties.
The training was funded by Democracy International project and implemented by Women Aid Vision.
