SPLA Moral Orientation Office is enlightening soldiers on their Acts to respect civilians according to the rule of law and the constitution.
The three-day enlightenment was organized by SPLA Division Five in collaboration with Justice and Peace Commission of the Catholic Diocese of Wau, Radio Voice of Hope reports.
Chief of Moral orientation, Major Mangong Anyijong, says the ceasefire declared by the president is a good chance to remind soldiers and disseminate SPLA regulations, humanitarian and other laws.
Major Anyijong adds that the training is to teach soldiers that violators of SPLA Acts and other laws will face the military court.
The commander encourages soldiers that civilians is an important element and that without them no state and the government.
Major Anyijong spoke to Radio Voice of Hope on Monday during the opening of the workshop at Grinti Military Headquarters in Wau.
