IGAD appreciates ceasefire and peace agreement progress

The Intergovernmental Authority on Development or IGAD appreciates President Salva Kiir for declaring unilateral ceasefire and releasing political detainees, says Minister of Petroleum.
 
Ezekiel Lul upon arrival from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, told Journalist on Tuesday that IGAD in its communiqué also acknowledges the progress in the implementation of the peace agreement.
 
The bloc thanks the government for allowing smooth delivery of humanitarian aid to people, he adds.
