The Referendum authorities started training voter registration officials at county level in Eastern Equatoria.
Anisia Achieng Karlo, a trainer with the Southern Sudan Referendum Commission, told Emmanuel Radio that the Commission recruited over 1000 officials to conduct the registration of voters in the state.Ms. Achieng added that the training of the registration officials starting in Torit and will rollover to all the other counties until Friday.
She said registration officials had to be ready for the exercise that kicks off on November 14, within five days.
