Measles vaccinators of tragedy in Kapoeta underage

Minister of Health reported to the Council of Ministers that the vaccinators of the measles campaign that killed fifteen children in Kapoeta were underage, says government spokesperson.
 
Michael Makuei Lueth says the vaccinators were also using one syringe many times for ten days.
 
The storage of the vaccine was poor and resulted to death of 15 children, he adds.
 
Minister Makuei notes that a second investigation is in progress to find out who is responsible of ‘this unfortunate tragedy’.
 
The government is shocked by the news and sending their condolences to the families of the children, he says.
 
The minister was briefing Journalist after the fourth extraordinary meeting of council of ministers on Wednesday in Juba.
