Missionary Children Association Christians in the Catholic Diocese of Torit prayed for Uganda martyrs because of their strong faith in Jesus Christ.
Uganda martyrs are a group of 23 Anglican and 22 Catholic converts killed between 31 January 1885 and 27 January 1887in the Kingdom of Buganda, now part of Uganda, Radio Emmanuel reports.
John Loboi Edwin, Internal Chaplain for Missionary Children Association, says the prayer is crucial for kids to enter the kingdom of God.
Rejoice Iholong James, a member of the Association, says the Uganda martyrs accepted to die to inspire children to remain strong in faith and be exemplary.
Fr Arkangelo Lokoro, Vicar General of the Catholic Diocese of Torit, in his homily urges parents and teachers to lay good foundation to children to avoid evils deeds.

The speakers made the remarks during the Uganda Martyrs’ Prayer Day at Our Lady of Holy Rosary Parish on Saturday.
