The government is not in control of the process of national dialogue, says a member of the steering committee.

Magod Maker says it is free and everybody is allowed to participate to bring solution to the current political, social and economic problems in the country.

He expresses happiness for the government’s position over the dialogue.

Maker appreciates the response of other armed groups to the dialogue.

He believes all problems can be resolved through discussions, not barrels of guns.

Archbishop Gabriel Roric, another member, says the dialogue conducted in 2010 is not being followed up by the government and other political parties.

The members were speaking on Tuesday during the ‘national dialogue conference from technical perspective’.
