The trial of SPLA accused of raping and killing people at Terrain Hotel in July last year has been postponed again until June 20, army spokesperson discloses to journalists in Juba Tuesday.
Colonel Santo Domic Chol says it is adjourned to give chance for fair judgment of both the victims and the perpetrators.
The postponement is also to give time to the new prosecutor to study details of the case and allow witnesses who traveled out of Juba to attend the third trial.
Colonel Domic clarifies that the perpetrators of terrain Hotel abuses are twelve, not twenty as other media houses reported.
Terrain Hotel abuses took place during the incident of July last year when fighting broke out between forces of President Salva Kiir and his former first Vice Riek Machar in Juba.
Twelve suspected soldiers were presented to the military court on May 30 and their trial was adjourned because some witnesses were not present in the court.
