Inter-Faith-based Council for Peace in Western Equatoria and South Sudan Council of Churches during a women and youth conference in Yambio call for lasting peace in South Sudan.

The officer pledges that the Council will continue engaging women and youth in peace building programs in the country.
 
Inter-faith initiative in partnership with the Council of Churches two-day conference for youth and women was to train them on peace building in South Sudan.
 
The conference drew participants from Equatoria, Upper Nile and Bahr el Ghazal regions to Yambio over the weekend.
