Women from different parishes of Catholic Diocese of Wau organized a prayer day for peace at St Mary’s Cathedral on Saturday.
Women decided to pray together so that God may release South Sudanese from pain, explains Diocesan Coordinator for Justice and Peace, Natalina Andrea Mabu, Radio Voice of Hope reports.
Women prayer is focusing on forgiveness in order to have peace in the country because it is time to return to God, the Coordinator appeals.
Women prayer for peace is the first of its kind in Wau and will continue every Saturday, discloses the Diocesan Coordinator.
The leader encourages the women who lost their dear ones during the crisis to leave everything in God’s hand and open the new page.
