Community peace working group continue to enforce efforts to bring reconciliation amongst the people in Yambio County.
The group was formed to implement a resolution of the peace dialogue conducted by Change Agency Association in the area, Radio Anisa reports.
Mr Udie Daniel is the director of Change Agency Association or CAA.
He says the committee is entitled to work for reconciliation and end inter-ethnic conflicts.
The committee this Thursday held their first meeting to discuss how they can implement the resolutions of the community dialogue.
The chiefs and some relevant local authorities must be active in the dialogue process, the committee urges.
It says the committee is ready to work for peace, but some chiefs and headmen are not active and others are nowhere to be seen since their areas of operation were deserted.
Mr Elianna Joshua is the director of local governments and traditional authorities in the state ministry. He urges the young people to calm down their temper and work for peace.
The speakers made the remarks in a meeting at sunset hotel in Yambio.
