South Sudan Democratic Engagement Monitoring and Observation Program or SSUDEMOP on Wednesday reviewed Police Service, Anti Corruption Commission 2009 and National Audit Chamber Acts.
Merekaje Lorna, SSUDEMOP Secretary-General, says the discussion is to get public views before the amendment of the laws to present them to the parliament.
Lorna stresses the need for Anti-Corruption Commission to have powers to prosecute violators.
Dr Jaafar Mori, former Dean of the College of Economics at University of Juba, notes that monitoring and evaluation is important in the ministries to keep the government alert.
The discussion attracted more than one hundred participants from different institutes.
