Over 100 people fled hunger recently in Heiban, says Commissioner

About 160 civilians mainly women and children in Heiban County of Nuba Mountains fled the area due to looming hunger in the region, says Commissioner.
 
Saaid Kacho Kome, notes that many people in the families have no food to eat.
 
He predicts that the situation will worsen as the number running within this month is great.
 
The commissioner fears that there will be no people if food and other services are not provided in the coming three months.
 
The Commissioner explains that last year unreliable rainfall affected production of crops and forced many people to leave the region.
 
Kacho appeals to humanitarian organizations to help rescue the situation in Nuba Mountains.
 
Drought in the Nuba Mountains last year resulted to lack of food.
