The first batch of medical students of Bahr el Ghazal University has graduated on Sunday in Wau State.
Abraham Matoch Dhal, Acting Vice Chancellor and patron of the day, says seventeen students graduated from the Faculty of Medicines and Public Science, Voice of Hope reports.
Among the graduates, fifteen were male and two female students, Matoch adds.
One of the graduates expressed his happiness for the graduation after long journey of study.
Rukeiya Madut, State Minister of Education, advises the medical students to go for their specializations to treat people instead of remaining in politics.
She asks them to be careful and not to be misled by politics and abandon their profession as doctors.
The minister appreciates the students for the long research and study they carried out for better health in the country.
