The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Investment is planning to conduct South Sudan trade exhibition between sixth and tenth of June to promote local products.
Elizabeth Manoa Majok, undersecretary in the ministry says the display aims to showcase products that are locally made in the country, Radio Bakhita reports.
She adds that the initiative supported by UNDP is the first of its kind and if handed well might reduce the cost of living.
Daniel Kiir, team leader for Human Development Growth Unit says the organization supports the initiative in order to raise hope among the people of the young country.
The South Sudan trade exhibition is set to commence early next month.
