Save the children trains health workers on data management

Save the children is training At least thirty-two health personnel on information system management in Torit, Imotong State.
 
The three-day workshop that ended on Wednesday was to empower county health workers with data collection and information reporting, Radio Emmanuel reports.
 
Efuk John Adelino who facilitated the training, says the participants are expected to provide accurate health data to the county health departments for proper planning.
 
The training helped data clerks to extract information from various government registers to be used in appropriate departments, says Celinda Beda, State Health Representative.
 
She says the exercise targets proper coordination of health service activities at all levels.
 
Participant, Oromo Mike, says the training helps in information sharing.
 
Dominic Leo is another participant. He says his target is to get fresh ideas on how to channel data and reports.
 
The speakers talked to Radio Emmanuel during the health information system and pharmaceutical management training in Torit on Wednesday.
